Yum yum yum. Thats apt for what comes from my juicer.

First saw these years ago - watching late night tv, programme finishes and on comes one of those REALLY ANNOYING home shopping adverts. blah blah blah, or so I thought.

After listening to this over perky woman talking to this skinny little guy (Jack La Lanne), i heard the word smoothies, juicer and whole fruit! Oh lets have a look I thought.

Had a quick squizz at the advert, then decided i'd look on the internet. Found it and the reviews looked pretty good. Although I have to say I was not going to pay the really rather ridiculas price that it had on there!

I do know that a few shopping channels have shops on ebay - so i went searching, found the elusive juicer for just over £30. This was about 4 - 5 years ago and that was when juicers where then becoming popular.
Bargain, so I bought one.

It arrived in a quite big box, packed to the hilt to protect it, which is a sign of a good make in itself.
Unpacking it was a bit daunting, looking at the bits and pieces, thinking blimey! Well - the intructions were pretty clear and straight forward, which is always a plus in my book.

There is only one fiddley bit and that is a thin silver coloured ring that fits between the base and the large lid. If you don't have that sitting flush where its supposed to be it maked closing the safety arm which hold the lid down extremely difficult.
Also the orange grater that pulps everything has to be flush too or you do hear it knocking on the side of the unit as it spins inside. Other than those couple of minor things, it was and is as easy as pie to set up.

Next thing was to decided what to first put in it, of course apples and oranges were first on the list - and its great, you don't have to peel them or anything, just put then down the hole, put the plunger on top, turn it on and gently push, less than a second later, JUICE!

The recipe book it comes with is great too, i've tried about half of them now but i do like playing around and making my own concoctions.

Cleaning is easy. Just reverse the order you put it together in. If there is mess on the base unit, just wipe with a damp cloth, chuck the other bits into a bowl or dishwasher and do as normal!

The great thing about a juicer is, if like me you have a child that will only eat one type of fruit (something about texture she finds weird in some things, which i hope she grows out of), but like the taste, I can juice maybe, an apple, orange and a carrot and that her 3 of her 5 a day, in one go - with no whinging and no fuss! It really is fantastic for fussy eaters.

Summary: Well worth getting, a nice machine
