I bought one of these today, I have always wanted a juicer, I love juice, however, I am in turmoil when reading the list of ingredients in so called 'juice', from concentrate, not from concentrate, acidity regulators, juice drinks. I just want juice.

This is the answer, just juice. The design is simple you put the fruit & veg in the top and the juice comes out the side. It al comes apart to clean, though the blades are difficult to get the mush from. The only real complaint I have with this is the spout the juice comes out of. Due to the poor design it splutters and juice runs down the side of the juicer and the glass. Not a major problem for a cheap juicer, just irritating.

Today I have made peach & apple, kiwi & carrot, kiwi & banana, and plum. I then had an idea to use the mush of the carrot left over from the juice to make baby food (a liquidiser or blender would normally do this, but this is the new juicer!!) I added onion & green bean to the carrot, cooked the mush quickly and added the juice. Quick cooking time to retain vitamins. The juice on it's own tasted a little odd. I have to be honest & say I won't cook the baby food that way again, I will stick to juice.

I like it and can see myself drinking a lot of juice for a couple of weeks before it goes in the cupboard with the rest of the electrical items which become too time consuming to use or clean.
