After reading lots of reviews, I bought my L'Equip Mini from UK Juicers in approx 2004. I must say their website and customer service are both excellent! The L'Equip Mini arrived promptly and set to work. I've used it several times a week over the period. It's a gorgeous looking grey plastic and stainless steel and sits neatly on the work surface. It works really well and makes a litre or more of great tasting juice in no time. It's not too noisy. A couple of minor downsides are a) the 'funnel' is a bit narrow so for example, I have to cut apples into 3 slices and then halve those and b) the pulp is a bit difficult to clean off the grating disc so I tend to clean it all by hand.
Typically I juice 3 carrots, an orange, a lemon segment with skin, a bit of ginger root for the zing, and an apple. The pulp, continuously ejected to the receptacle at the rear, is fairly dry and I normally put some in my porridge for the added fiber
It had a 5 year warranty which was fantastic as one motor burnt out, and the side clips needed replacing but a quick call to UK Juicers and I received replacements promptly.
A great machine!
I bought the l'equip juicer in Jan 2004 and think it is fantastic. It's very powerful, easy to use, allows constant juicing (don't need to stop to remove the pulp as it has a huge pulp collector at the back) and is easy to clean. It's supposed to be totally dishwasher safe but I find it easier to was the stainless steel parts by hand. However, if you wash it straight away in the dishwasher it's fine. Doesn't do citrus fruit or wheatgrass but has handled all other furit and veg with ease with a dry pulp so the minimum amount of juice is wasted. A star buy that I would recommend to anyone. It's also small enough to be kept out on the worktop everyday. Juicing is a fantastic way to ensure you get the essential 5 pieces of furit and veg a day and the L'equip makes it easy!
