Advantages: Powerful motor which juices any sized fruit / veg, recipe book is included
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, Hard to clean
I think juicers, as a whole, are awesome. Its just a simple treat, to grab a bunch of fruit and make a thirst quenching juice. A treat for the whole family!! So, for a while I had wanted one but the funds never stretched to a juicer. It's quite a luxury really, when you have four children. Shopping around, they came out at between Euro80 and Euro250. Pricey, yes!!
**Product as a whole**
Coming in at approximately Euro200, this particular juicer didn't come cheap. I bought my one in Homestore & More and comparing it to others of the same kind in the store, it came out looking better and so this was purchased. Since then, I have seen it on amazon to buy for £165.99 which is quite average for a juicer of this quality. I bought it in April last year and have used it nearly every week. The combinations of juices is superb, you can use every type of fruit, hard, soft, large, small...and even vegetables for a pick me up juice. The motor can be adapted for if you want plain old juice or a puree smoothie. I found it particularly handy for puree-ing vegetables for my toddler.
*..Features..*
The product comes with 2 cones, an extractor for the juice, an attachment for pressing down on the contents, a coulis maker and even an little recipe book for different variations. The motor is very powerful I think, and i have chopped whole chunks of fruit and veg into juice.
*Overall*
As a whole I find it useful. It is difficult to clean all the different attachments and it needs a cleaning after one use as all the pulp from the fruit gets stuck everywhere. I've taken to soaking it in hot soapy water though and this does the trick. Quite pricey but I've gotten a lot of use out of mine. I wouldn't recommend it for somebody who would not use it regularly as it would be a waste.
Summary: Would not recommend it as a first time buy
