Advantages: smart, powerful

Disadvantages: one glass at a time

This is a great juicer. No doubt. It looks smart and modern in your kitchen, not like some cheaper ones which look like kids toys - this looks like a grown up juicer. Your friends will be conned into thinking you are a health nut. It is pretty pricey, but it will last and is powerful. I have tried cheaper juicers, but this one squeezes more juice out of your fruit and veg. It is also great at handling hard fruit and veg where others have struggled. Do not get this Magimix duo confused with the duo PLUS which has a larger spout. Unlike it, you will have to roughly slice your apples and chunky carrots to fit in the top, it does not have a huge opening like the Plus. I have had no problems and have used many fruits and veg such as carrot, pineapple, beetroot and celery. It creates a really smooth juice with no pulp.

Assembly, disassembly and cleaning is easy as all removable parts are dishwasher safe, the only thing you have to clean out first is the walls of the removable round part - they provide a spatula for this which fits nicely. I always try and bung this piece in the dishwasher as it can be a bit of a pain to clean manually.

All round, you get value for money with this one. Negatives? It can be a bit loud, and you won't be able to do juices for a group in one go as the pulp/rind fills up if you are doing a huge amount. A tall glass will not fit under the spout, so you have to do a quick swap when your glass gets full. I have juiced blueberries in it and they are a bit of a nightmare as the tiny seeds get stuck and are hard to get out. In saying that though, I am sure I should be using a blender for that sort of job anyway.

Some good info here.

However if you have owned the Duo Plus, what is the major difference. Also for buyers some more info would be beneficial here such as:

Is it noisy in use?
Easy to take apart?
Long power cord/general design quality
Actual cost price you paid
How long have you owned it?

Adding info isnt compulsory but it would boost your review further. If you update your review please message me.
