scottiestavern Philips HR1861: ... my god i love my juicer. Since getting this product i have gone juicing mad. You would not believe the things you can juice. This product is easy to use and the end result is great. Another massive bonus to this product is that it is very easy to clean. I always use to think why not just buy a smoothie or carton of juice as its much easier and far less trouble. But hey its easy and like i said easy to clean. And l...

... ve had this juicer for a year now. It has 2 speed settings of which I only ever use the most powerful so I don t see the need for 2. The Juice jug is a decent size but not the most robust. Cleaning brush is handy to get at all the bits left after the process. All removable parts are dishwasher safe which isn t as useful as it sounds because it s easier to wash by hand since the pulp gets everywhere and blocks the dishwasher filter. Good Points: This powerful juicer is quick to juice with the minimum of effort. Whole fruit such as apples and tomatoes fit easily into the feed tube. It s easy to assemble and there is a large pulp container to collect the waste. Drawba...

... have had my Phillips juicer for a couple of months now, and use it everyday. It s a great way to eat your 5 a day. The skin and pith of your fruit is whizzed into a tray at the back, and all of the juice and goodness goes into making your drink. It s incredibly easy to clean, and comes with a special, small brush for getting into the small bits. The plastic jug is also very useful, the grey lid keeps any splashes from going onto your kitchen surface. It s great for reducing hard fruit, like apples and oranges, however, I would recommend keeping your old smoothie maker for berries and other soft fruits, as they tend to get lost in the juicer. In short, you can make a d...

... brought into the whole juicing phrase because of Jordan - I m not a huge fan of hers but her ability to shrink immediately after childbirth caught my attention (I admit I m quite shallow) and so during my 2nd pregnancy I purchased the Philips HR1865 Juicer for £169, in readiness for the big diet once I d given birth. So, once my gorgeous baby boy had arrived, and I d given my body enough time to recover, I weaned myself off the cakes and junk food and fired the Juicer into action HOW IT WORKS Apparently it has some centrifugal action going on - the fruit and veg get spun round fast enough to ensure all the juice is extracted. The large feeding tube where you put the fr...
