In an effort to be healthier my husband and I purchased the Rosemary Conley juicer when it was on offer, we purchased it from Superdrug which doesn't normally sell that sort of thing, as part of a Summer promotion, for £29.99. It's fairly nondescript - a basic white and clear plastic juicer, with a thin instruction booklet. It's a 400 watt model which is quite standard for juicers and for the money we were initially quite pleased with it. However I really really wish we'd gone for a more established name / better quality product. The juicer is so flawed it's almost un-usable. When you use it, there is also a fairly worrying burning rubber sort of ... Read the complete review

This was the first juicer I bought as I was new to juicing and after many different fads I didn't want to spend a fortune on equipment that I would never use, I have been using this Juicer for about six months now and up until recently I was happy with the quality of the juices and enjoying the feeling the juices were giving me. I wasn't enjoying the amount of time involved in preparing the fruit ready for juicing even small things like carrots or celery need to be chopped up prior to putting them in the machine otherwise they get stuck in the chute. This product is dreadful! I was so disappointed when I brought this. It doesn't pulp the fruit properly and is impossible to keep clean. The fruit gets caught up in the mesh and even when I got a toothbrush to it I couldn't get it clean. Also the juice doesn't come out the nozzle properly. It doesn't like doing apples or carrots which I found very annoying. The recipes all looked really nice in the book that comes with it but I just couldn't make half of them as you just get into a complete mess! To make one tiny cup of juice you need about 10 oranges as the machine doesn't seem to squeeze all the juice out of the pulp and this blocks the whole system up. Mine may have .. I have read other reviews of people having bad experiences with this product, but mine has been more positive. This blender/juicer combo comes with two separate features: a large jug for blending in, and a juicer. The blender, I have to say, has been really great. It has different speed functions from low to high, and on the highest speed you can blend a smoothie in minutes, or even less. The lid has a really sturdy seal on it, so there will be no spillages or smoothie explosions everywhere. The jug fits nicely onto the main console and clicks into place easily, not like some fiddly equipment which is really hard to fix together. I have made lots ... Read the complete review
