We got this book when our daughter was tiny, and we have read it so many times with her it is scruffy now and she is only 6 months old.
The baby einstein series is based around the concept that babies appreciate 'proper' pictures rather than cartoonified stuff. They also do a series of cartoons and other toys as well based around this principle invloving classical music.
This is a small palm sized board book aimed at babies from birth. It has a series of 10 pictures with statements such as 'Babies have tiny hands' with a picture of tiny baby hands next to it. It also has a childs drawing of a baby, a smiling baby, a painting of a daddy with their baby, a picture of a mummy with their baby, a picture of a crying baby, a picture of a messy baby eating, a painting of a baby asleep in a crib, a picture of lots of different babies of different races and sizes, and a painting of a happy family.
I found the pictures really engaged my daughter and she would love looking at them - especially the pictures of babies.
The RRP for this book is £2.99 it is by Julie Aigner-Clark and is published by Scholastic. Baby Einstein is part of The Walt Disney Company.
