is written in pale blue and the touch and feel is written in lilac so the whole front of the book is very pale in colour just the way the Beatrix Potter Books are. Peter Rabbits tummy id made of a fur like material and my daughter stroke this and says "ahhh" On the first page of the book you Meet Benjamin Button who is trying to pull up some onions but Peter Rabbit is being lazy and just sits amonst the lettuce. There is a large lettuce leaf next to Peter which is made of a crinkly material and Benjamin Bunnies back is a felt like material, the size of the lettuce leaf is a little strange however as it is nearly as tall as Peter. One of my personal favourite books my son received for Christmas has to be this one 'Touch and Count with Peter rabbit'. I have always loved Peter Rabbit and the beautiful illustrations for children in the books. And the great thing is my son who is 17 months likes it too. Although I suspect it is for different reasons. He loves books which have touchy feely bits on the pages and this book does. It is a simple book which counts to ten with you. I say when the book gets dirty. As this cloth book is also part of The World of Beatrix Potter brand, it would make a nice addition to anyone collecting Peter Rabbit or Beatrix Potter items. This cloth book was first published by Penguin and can still be found in shops today. I found the My Peter Rabbit Cloth Book in a bookshop in Leominster for £4.99 (brand new) and considering the use my niece has had out of it and the use she ll continue to have out of it, I think it was a good purchase.
