Confessions of Georgia Nicolson: Stop in the Name of Pants! - Louise Rennison
Advantages: So funny, truthful and takes you back to your school days.
Disadvantages: Not a good idea to read in public
If you have never read one of Louise Rennisons books on Georgia Nicholson I reccomend you go out and put that right!
I am 22 and I love these books (no I'm not an immature 22 year old, I have a mortgage and a baby!). They are more adult humour and I doubt my 12 year old sister would find them funny.
I have read them since the beginning, and have lost count of how many times I have read the whole series.
Georgia is very funny and gives you flashbacks to your own school days, my friend even says that I could possibly be Georgia (she should know she was stuck with me at school for 5 years!) and I'm sure everyone can see some resembalance of her in themselves.
Dont read these books in public places, people will think you are mental. There have been many times I have read one on the bus and have ended up in tears from laughter. You may even find yourself talking like she does with words such as - Maturiosity, stupidosity, poo-osity and so on (just add osity onto the end of everything)
I recently watched the movie "angus, thongs and perfect snogging" based on these books and was very disapointed (as I usually am when I watch the film of a book I have already read) but thats another review
Summary: I love Georgia
