Daisy And The Beastie is the second of the Daisy range of books that my daughter has taken out from the library, and after liking the first one so much we had high hopes for this one! The book is written by Jane SImmons and was published by Orchard Books. As with the previous Daisy book, the pictures are beautifully done, almost like oil paintings and the pictures are all centred around a farmyard. Daisy is a little yellow duckling with a bright orange beak and big webbed feet, and in this story we also meet Daisy's little brother Pip.
