I brought this book for my son after reading it in the library. I think it's a beautiful book with a great meaning.
The Book is a relatively thin paperback book but I believe it can be purchased in hardback also. On the front cover is a small illustration of the older and younger hares the rest of the cover has mainly writing of the title and authors name. The background is a pale yellow colour, not eye catching at all but works.

Guess How Much I Love You is written by Sam McBratney this is the only book of this author I have read and it's a delight to read. The story is of how Little Nutbrown Hare (Baby Hare) expresses to Big Nutbrown Hare (Daddy Hare) just how much he loves him. The hares attempted to do this in a few ways by spreading their arms wide, reaching for the sky. Little hare starts getting tired after all his conveying of love and thinks he wins when by saying he "I love you right to the moon!" then Big Nutbrown Hare replies by saying "I love you right to the moon ...and back again"

Many children's book I have read convey the message of how much Mum's love their children so I thought this book was a refreshing change to express a Daddy's love.

The illustrations are soft, subtle and relevant to the story my niece loves this book and enjoys the pictures as much as the story. This is a very readable book and one which I don't think I will tire of.

This book really touches my heart and spreads a lovely message of a Daddy's love.
