quick and fun read occasionally, and to escape to a simpler and less stressful age. Recently I picked this book up from the library. Pop Princess, written by Cathy Hopkins, is part of the Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise series which follows the lives, loves and adventures of five young teenagers based in Cornwall: Becca, Kat, Mac, Lia and Squidge. Each book is written from the perspective of a different character, and in Pop Princess it is Becca who is telling the story. Becca finds herself dared by Squidge to accompany the group to the Pop Prince and Princess auditions.
