Today, I will be reviewing a book which I recently read (quite a few times actually) to my little cousins). It's also one of my favourite books from my childhood. Everyone remembers the Mr Men and Little Miss books right? Well they were my favourite! Today I will be reviewing one of the Mr Men books.

Meet Mr Greedy; he is very Greedy! All he does all day long is nose in other people's business!

I think this book is a 'fun' read, no matter what your age- by the way I'm not saying that as a twenty year old adult, this is the kind of books we should be reading. What I mean is that I think they are such great little stories that everyone can find them enjoyable.

I think that Mr Greedy is a great character; I used to think he was a real person when I was younger (oh the days!).

I think that this book sends out a great message; that we shouldn't be so greedy. I think that it also teaches children that it is important to think of others and share instead of putting ourselves first all the time.

The book is very short; which means that it is perfect for younger children, as it is just the right length to keep them entertained without getting 'fidgety'. Of course, this is the kind of story that children will want to be read over and over again.

I would say that this book is aimed at children from around the age of 3-7. The language is simple and easy to understand. Children who are learning to read will also enjoy these books; the majority of the text consists of a short sentence per page.

There are also lots of pictures which help explain the story to younger ones and help them imagine the story. I also think that this book is great at teaching children new words and by the end of this book they will certainly know what 'greedy' means. I would therefore say that this book is very educational.
