Mr Messy!

Yes, another classic book from the man, Mr Roger Haegraves himself. I love this set of books and only wish I could afford the £70 to buy them for when my baby gets older.

This book is a really good way to learn your child to be tidy! I remember reading this book at Primary school with my lovely primary school teacher (arnet they always lovely).

The book was soft back and was white with a big cartoon image on the front of Mr Messy.

My Messy had this name as he was really messy. His house was messy as was his garden. He did not look after his house and it was dropping to bits, e.g the garden gate falling off the hinges and paint peeling off the walls.

The great thing about this book is that it involves other characters from the set , Mr Neat and Mr Tidy.

One day Mr Messy has decides to go for a walk when he stumbles across them. Mr Neat and Mr Tidy and the most tidiest house ever. Mr Messy gets talking to Mr Messy and ask him to help them tidy up, suprisingly Mr Messy agreed and helped tidy up the garden and the house. My messy eventually got tidy and became really good friends with the other two.

A great fun story to help your child tidy up as they tend to want to be either Mr Neat or Mr Tidy, nobody wants to be Mr Messy, so when their room is untidy simply say "Mr Messy are you" and that should do the trick!! :)
