I bought this book for my daughter when she was 5 along with other C & L activity books. It is fab - one of the best sticker books we have had! There are over 100 stickers, so unlike those books where the stickers are gone in 5 minutes, this one has real play value. The quality of the book is as good as the real picture books, and the illustrations are as good too - that is the beauty of this book - it is not a copout of blankness and basic black and white pictures - it is to the excellent standard of C & L books. This means that once the stickers have been put on, the book can be kept on the shelf to read again and again.

The story in the book is one of those that has been written based on one of the TV episodes. It is about Charlie convincing Lola why it is a good thing that she is getting her hair cut. It follows the usual Charlie and Lola format and although it isn't one of our out and out favourite C & L stories, it is pretty good. It is also one of those great "life-lesson" books that could actually be really useful to persuade a reluctant child to go to the hairdressers.
