My two year old son loves reading the tactile Usborne touchy-feely range and also enjoys noisy stories so 'This is my digger', part of a new range of Usborne stories, seemed an obvious choice. My son proudly carried his new noisy touchy feely find out of the library and it has been enjoyed many a time since! The book is a solid, sturdy hardback with all the interactive qualities that I've come to expect from a good quality Usborne children's book. I bought this book, from the library; that is my digger as I thought it was a book that had a combination of things to help hold the interest of my son. It is a relatively new book that was publishes in May 2009. It is a board book that does seem quite sturdy. It does however have warning on the book that states it contains cell batteries which can be dangerous if swallowed so need to be aware of this particularly if you do have a child who tends to damage books The book is more facts about diggers that and actual story.
