Lovely colourful book which appeals to young children

I hadn't actually heard of Noodle the panda before I came across this book with my daughter. I see from looking on the internet there are more books about Noodle so I think we might be getting few more. Other titles include 'Noodle loves to Cuddle' and 'Noodle loves bedtime'. She chose it from the library last time we went and I've had to renew it, she loves it that much! This is a cardboard touch-and-feel book called Noodle Loves to Eat by Marion Billet. It is a brightly coloured attractive board book featuring a cute little Panda called Noodle. Noodle really enjoys his food and throughout the book it tells the reader which food Noodle likes with the touchy feely patches. In the book there is soft fluffy bread and bumpy green peas. The pages are thick and chunky, great for little hands to turn. The pages and cover have a slightly glossy finish to them so easy to wipe clean should you need to. The illustrations in this book are brightly coloured and detailed. There are different things in the pages which my daughter likes pointing out. For example 'The dinosaur is watching Noodle eat his fruit'. On the last page there is a mirror, and the text says 'And just like Noodle you love to eat!'. This is my daughters favourite part of the book and has memorised that part! I would've said this book is aimed at younger children but my daughter still really enjoys this book and seems to be going through a phase of choosing touch-and-feel books over 'reading' books. She will be 3 in March. I would recommend this book, lovely to look at and enjoy reading it with your child. On the back of the book it is priced at £5.99. ISBN: 978-0-85763-023-0
