      A lovely read

I had the full set of Postman Pat books when I was a child, and luckily my mom kept them for me so when I had my son she passed them all onto him for me. The Postman Pat and the Pet Show is one I read to him last night and he loved it. It follows Pat as he puts Jess forward in a Pet Show and wins.

The story is very simple and easy to read, and equally easy for little children to follow or read to themselves. There are only a couple of sentences on each page and the majority of the book is pictures.

The illustrations are colourful and Pat looks like Pat which in some books is debatable! The range of books also include all the TV series characters so children can associate with the books easily

The book is available in hardback and paperback and can be picked up on Amazon for less the £1! There are more in the series which include:-
      Postman Pat's Rainy Day
      Postman Pats Blustery Day
      Postman Pat's Day Off
      Postman Pat's Busy Day

All these stories were made into episodes on the show so its nice to match them up and my son obviously recognised the story when I started reading it which was nice. Unlike so many books these days these stories by John Cunliffe are so innocent and nice. There are no monsters, no funny topics just a simple childs story.
