Counting is one of those things I have never taught my children. It just seems that it is one of those things that they pick up on their own. But while I don't actively teach them to count - I do count things with them and keep a good selection of counting books. This one was already a bit too easy by the time we bought it, as it only goes up to 10, but it is also one of the most fun counting books we have, and easily doubles as bedtime story. What makes this book unique is the addition of two large googley eyes. These are weighted so that they will face up. When the book is closed the eyeballs face outwards as shown.
