Advantages: Great Read
Disadvantages: You will not be able to function for 8 hours once you start.
Right from the very beginning of this book I was hooked. The characters are very well balanced and immediately relatable, you can't help but route for them; especially the character of Peeta and dear little Prim. Suzanne writes a beautifully sculpted plot with enough twists and turns to keep any reader interested.
The book is set in a post apocalyptic world where a power called the 'Capitol' rules over 12 Districts with is uses a labour for all their wants and needs. To remind the Districts who is in charge the Capitol calls for two children (one boy and one girl) aged 12 to 18 from each capitol to take part in a fight to the death. The rules are simple the last one alive survives.
When the protagonists Katniss Everdeen's sister is called, she volunteers to save her. The story follows her heart wrenching story.
This story really makes you wonder about the state of a world where kids are killed for entertainment and if it is a likely or unlikely scenario.
Summary: Just buy it :P you won't regret it
