I used to love Enid Blyton story books when I was a little girl and my grandaughter now loves them too. So, when she comes to stay overnight we have bedtime tales with hot chocolate. I buy the Enid Blyton books from Ebay as they can be picked up for 99p if your lucky. I got this one for 99p and had to pay £1.50 postage so I was happy with this price. You can find the book on Amazon and in shops like The Works but they often change their stock so you have to go in often to see what they have on offer, anything from 99p to £3.99 is a fair price to pay for a book. This book was first published in 1942 as 'Enid Blyton's Happy Storybook, the book was later renamed 'The Magic Brush And Other Stories' and re-launched as one of the 48 titles in the 'Popular Rewards' series in 1985. It is a hardback book which contains 17 short stories from the much loved children's author and is aimed at younger children (3 - 7 year olds). Each story is between 6 and 20 pages long and all come with simple black and white illustrations and has large clear print.
