Advantages: Brilliant story. An excellent finale
Disadvantages: Drags some parts out, and makes some to short
When I first picked up the final book to the power of five series I wasn't sure what to expect.obviously I was hoping that the story would finish with a bang so that I could put it down satisfied. I wasn't disappointed.
The moment I started reading the book I was engrossed. No other word for it. It starts with an interesting tale deep in the English countryside and shows the fight for 5 to each get to their nearest available 'door' so that the final battle in Oblivion in the land of Antarctica, could take place.
Already I was intrigued. I don't want to spoil it but Chaos had apparently locked the door in Antarctica, which in turn, locked the other 24! I found this exciting because I knew that they each have to make their own way. I always love it when characters feel alone in a story.
Another thing that got me was the fact of a traitor. Still not wanting to spoil but don't you just love it when there's a betrayal.
I really don't want to give too much away but the book is really fantastic. Outranking the rest of the series by a mile. An amazing read and I'm sad that the series has finished.
Summary: A great finisher to the series
