      Background to story

The rivers of zadaa is book 6 in a series of ten from author D J Machale. It follows a teenage boy but the name of Bobby Pendragon and his friends Mark Diamond and Courtney Chetwyde. Bobby Pendragon is Known as a Traveler (a person able to travel to different worlds or as the author calls them Territories. The bad guy in the series is a demon by the name of Saint Dane. It his goal to push every Territory toward total chaos by finding the turning point in each territory a change it so it destroys the territory. If Saint Dane wins in every territory he will control all of Halla(everything and anything). Bobby is not alone in his fight and each territory has its own traveler. There are ten territories in all I have not read all ten books so here are some of them Clorral,First Earth,Second earth,Third earth,Eelong,Veelox. Here are some of the travelers we have learned of so far Gunny,Aja Killion,Loor, Vo Spader,Seegan and Kasha.

      Beginning of story

The best way to describe Zadda as the book describes it is picture Egypt in the times of mosses.
The river of zadaa probably would be like the nile fiver

In the last book gunny and spader were trapped on Eeolong when the flume collapsed. Although they had won the travelers were trapped. Now Bobby and Loor the traveler from Zadaa are on her home ground waiting to stop saint Dane Again. Since Loor was last there the rivers in territory are starting dry up and it is a fight for every bit of water. The Rookador an underground tribe is the most advanced tribe in zadaa and they control all the rivers so there is no danger of flooding. But this also may be to there advantage because whoever controls the water controls Zadaa. The batu Loors tribe suspect this and some among the tribe want to go to war with the Rookador and Annihilate them. But the only thing stopping them is the king who does not want to war with anyone.
Throughout the book some of the Batu want to kill Bobby because he look like a Rookador which are described as white people because they live underground and there skin never sees the sun.
But at one stage when Boby decides to learn how to fight for self defense against anyone including saint Dane he get a tan which stops them from thinking hes a Rookador.

      Conclusion

Each of the book goes through each travelers journey to stop saint dane and not go mad and try to kill him though the could not as hes a demon traveler. Its interesting to see the people considered the most calm under pressure from Saint Dane. I really think the author could have gotten them to win this territory without being predictable even though they lost. Overall an enjoyable book.
Next book and next review is called The Quillan Games book 7 out of ten.
