Jurlique Lavender Floral Water
by avalyn
I love Jurlique cosmetics and their approach to natural ingredients. I have been buying the essential oils from them for a while so I though is time to place an order to try something new. Being a great fan of lavender in general and I constantly use pure lavender floral water on my face to tone, I decided to try their Lavender Floral ... Water among other things.
I have placed my order directly from jurlique official website. My order has arrived quickly and well packed which I was very pleased with.
The product packaging:
The first impression of the product was that is extremely well presented. It come packed in a white cardboard box with a stylish minimalist flower design and the company logo.
Inside there was a lovely white bottle, very minimalist looking on the front with again the company logo and the product name.
On top of the nozzle spray there is a white protecting transparent cap to protect dust to get on it, a very nice touch.
How I use it:
I like to first remove my make-up by using a cleansing oil like jojoba or sunflower and then remove it with either a damp muslin cloth or round cotton disks, sometimes I even use chamomile tea bags. After I have wiped off the oil off my face with one of the mention methods is always still a bit left behind so I close my eyes and then I spray the Jurlique lavender floral watert many times. Then I remove it with a cotton disk and so my face is ready for moisturiser.
Sometimes I even use this product during the day time to freshen up my face by sparing it gently a couple of times and they I just let it dry out.
What I think:
I have gone trough an entire bottle by now and I must say that is a very gentle product, softly for my face.
The smell is not offensive, is manly floral lavender like
Even though I think is a great product I will not be repurchasing. It cost £14.00 for an 100ml bottle and for this price I can use simply other lavender water or make my own face mist out of natural products also.
I have gone trough a bottle within a month and a half which is rather quick to justify the price in getting it again.
It was however an interesting experience and I will be reusing the pretty bottle for my own homemade face mist. Read the complete review |

Jurlique Rosemary Pure Essential Oil
by janharper
Jurlique Rosemary Oil is a hundred percent cold compressed oil and you know that you are getting the best there is when you buy this brand. Other brands may actually be diluted with carrier oil and although they cost less, it is better for you to choose a suitable carrier oil yourself.
Even worse than this I have seen Rosemary ... Oil on sale for 99p a bottle. Don't make the mistake of thinking this is the same think. It is only suitable as a fragrance oil and may be adulterated with creosote, vegetable oil, or any number of potentially harmful substances.
I actually know of someone who added a few drop of rosemary oil to her bath to sooth her aching muscles and ended up with chemical burns. If it's that cheap it is either very much diluted, or is only suitable for a fragrance burner.
I bought a 10mil bottle for £9.99 which I think is excellent value given the guaranteed quality of Jurlique essential oils.
Rosemary is known as the herb of remembrance and it has romantic and practical associations. A few drops in a diffuser placed on your desk will stimulate you mentally and help with concentration. I find this very useful when I am writing or studying.
Aromatherapists also recommend rosemary as a treatment for low blood pressure but in this instance it is wise to see a doctor before self medicating.
I think the greatest use I put this to is in a warm bath as it releases stress, eases headache and soothes aching muscles. Perfect if you have a cold, or flu.
It is always wise to buy the best product you can when using aromatherapy oils and you won't get much better quality than Jurlique. You might find higher priced brands but this really is top quality. Read the complete review |

Jurlique Geranium Pure Essential Oil
by janharper
Pure essential is vital if you intend using oils for anything else except room fragrancing. There are essential oils, including a geranium one on the market which are mixed with all kinds of things including creosote. Take care and always buy a good brand of essential oil.
Jurlique geranium essential oil is pure one hundred ... percent oil so it is safe to use for all kinds of skin preparations and aromatherapy applications.
Geranium oil can be used as a perfume on its own but it also has benefits for women of all ages. It is excellent to use during the menopause and is good for lifting the spirits and relieving stress.
Geranium is said by aromatherapists to regulate hormones and act as a tonic on the lymphatic system. It is a bit like a detoxing oil.
Geranium oil can be mixed with chamomile and added to a carrier oil like apricot, or almond and it will sooth skin and decrease inflamation.
I would highly recommend geranium oil for adding to a bath, or massaging onto tender muscles, breasts and lower abdominal areas if you are using it for its hormonal regulation properties.
Jurlique is a reliable brand and you get the benefit of one hundred percent pure, quality oil without having to pay a high price. It should cost around £9.99 for a 10ml bottle but other brands can cost very much more. I would certainly use this brand again because the quality and the aroma are superb. Read the complete review |
