Advantages: leaves hair shiny, you dnt need conditoner

Disadvantages: no softness to hair

After serious damage form hair straightening (GHD's had to cut at least 3 inches of hair off) and colouring! I decided it was time to find a good shampoo to help rehydrate my dired out hair!


kerastase is a preminium brand of loreal and the other professional brands in their haircare ranges are Matrix, loreal professional, redken, mizani.

Came across kerastase bain satin , my sister is a keen user, but I never seen her with serious damage hair like mine! Her hair is very shiny and in top tip condition as she has been using the product for a while now!



She told me it was really good! I was not put off with the price! As I already spends tons on endless hair care and other beauty products! I went to hair express salon to buy mine it costs me £9.75 for a 250ml bottle! And the lady told me my hair typing was 2 which is for dry and sensitive hair!

Packaging is a smallest orange bottle with a twisting cap and black and gold writing. The seal was in tact. Well I cant describe the smell something like rich creams.

Texture of the shampoo was quite thick similar to the other loreal products that are available in the supermarket!
I used a very little amount, less then a 10p size and it lathered really fast. Directions on the bottle says to leave it on for while! Left it on for 3 mins and I felt my hair being moistened. But not as hydrating as my other hair products.
This alone is conditioning and you wouldn't to use a conditioner as you might have really greasy hair. So i give this product good rating as you dnt really need consitioner.

Results
My hair was not soft but very shiny, but as it dried naturally some softness was left..conditions hair and detangles. Hair has improved in appearence much more shinier and healthy looking. I will try the deep treatments as i dont see any difference in softness. The roots of my hair is really shiny and smooth, but the hair that was already dried was frizzier then it was before! but i seen it become smoother after the third use.
since its improved a lot, it is easier to run straighteners in my hair. It glides faster and easier.


i love this shampoo, each time i wash my hair it is always full of shine, my virgin hair thats not damage is super soft! my hair is managable and the frzzy hair is not as bad as before! worth investing
