Advantages: Soft, silky hair where once there was straw

Disadvantages: A teeny weeny one - you need to use more than it says you do

This stuff is brilliant. It just is. If you have dry/coloured/damaged hair or just use a heap-load of heat-based styling, you need it. Now, I know this sounds like a pretty bold statement but....just trust me...

Brief history - I had dark hair that I'd been dying for about 10 years. It was in super condition too, that is until I decided blondes have more fun and took myself off for some serious bleaching. Result? I found out that blondes definately do have more fun but it's less fun having straw for hair.

My stylist told me to try this. I paid about £12 for it on Ebay but it does get more expensive elsewhere (totally worth it though). First time I used it, I loved it. It smelled great and my hair was finally back to being the lovely soft and smooth it once was. Awesome!

I will say this though - the directions say to use it on wet/damp hair after washing. I found that if you let your hair dry naturally a little, then apply it just before styling when your hair is nearly dry, it works even better. And you do need more than a walnut sized blob especially if you have longer hair.

Summary: Fantastic product from Kerastase - will be buying again

Sounds like a product that I would benefit from - my hair is like straw - but I'm not clear what this stuff is! Is it basically a conditioner or is it a leave-in treatment or something else?
