I love Kerastase products although only buy them occasionally due to the high cost. However there is one Kerastase product that I really wouldn't be without, oleo relax controlling care. I have dry, fine frizzy hair and left to its own devises my hair sticks out and looks every bit like an unruly hedge. Oleo relax is a great product that really works in keeping my locks under control.

L'oreal Paris first developed Kerastase in 1964. The products are now available worldwide. There is an extensive range that includes shampoos, conditioners and specialized hair treatments. There is a product to suit all hair types including a range of treatments for hair problems.

Kerastase has been favourably reviewed in several magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. Several famous women are reported to use Kerastase including Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston. Kerastase is not widely available and is only stocked in selected salons. It is possible to but Kerastase from several Internet retailers.

The product.

Kerastase oleo relax is part of the nutritive range of hair care products from Kerastase.It comes in a translucent orange bottle with a matching pump action top. I like the bottle as I can easily see how much I have left. To use simply pump one squirt into your hand, rub your hands together and smooth through damp hair. I also use Kerastase Lumiere nutri-sculpt once my hair is dry. The two products really compliment each other and leave my hair looking really shiny and smooth.

Oleo relax contains silicone and oils and I think it is the oils that help to leave my hair looking so shiny and in great condition. Like all Kerastase products this one is not cheap at around £16 for a 125ml bottle.




My experience.

The first thing to say is that this product really works unlike other hair serums I have tried from the high street. The product is easy to use and feels light and non-greasy in your hand. Other hair serums have left my hair looking flat and greasy but oleo relax leaves my hair looking smooth and shiny. After using this product I can actually get a comb through my hair!

The product smell lovely. I find describing smell difficult but this smells slightly floral .The scent lasts well too.

Kerastase products are not widely available but can be found in selected hair salons and on some Internet sites. I bought my bottle from my salon and paid £16 for 125ml.I use this product every other day and would say the bottle will last me for about 3 months. I think this is a good investment for a product that tames my unruly hair making it behave itself and shine at the same time!
