As I have previously mentioned on this site, I have naturally frizzy, wavey hair, every girls nightmare until GHD's came along!! However it is nice now and again to find a product that really works rather than having to rely on the hair straigthenrs, I have tried lots in my time from the Loreal frizz free to the Mark Hill sleek and straight but on my last trip to the Hairdreesers I was amazed at how straight my hair had fallen ,yes I know they can blow dry better than I ever could but they showed me the product they had put in...Kerastase Oleo Relax Control ,quite a mouthful but what a product, so here you go... my opinion on it and the first to review it....

Kerastase itself is a haircare collection, formed in 1964, the products are innovative and use a fomulae which has been built by the worlds leading haircare professionals. The Oleo Relax product comes in a classy orange glass bottle with a pump to release the serum. The bottle is 50 ml in size and tall and slim in shape. You need to apply 1-2 pumps of it onto towel dried hair, I recomend 1 pump, I have thick hair and this is pleanty for me, I rub it through my fingertips and then I tip my head upside down and apply the serum to the ends first (this is where my hair frizzes worst) and finishing with the roots. (There are clear and concise instuctions on the bottle)

The product contains a trio of oils that 'slim' down the hair fibre offering strength and control, this forms a barrier which stops your hair fibres from swelling (in my case frizzing!) and causing to much volume, I know it all sounds abit scientific but now I understand the product I can see how it works and its results.

Not only does the serum reduce the frizz in my hair it gives it an all over glossier look and whilst other products I have used 'weigh' down my hair this it alot lighter and lasts for 24 hours giving me 24 hours of protection form hte elements (as soon as the rain or hot weather hit my hair, the frizz begins!)

The product not available from high steet retailers but specific Hair salons (I brought mine form Lisa Shepards, Birmingham) This says something about the high spec of this product and why it is so good. You can buy it on line and I have found the website www.activeBeauty.co.uk.

This product is not cheap, my bottle cost me £14 (on-line approx £13 to £15) However I brought mine last november and I still have half a bottle left, eashing my hair everyother day and applying it, I dread to think the money I have wadted over the years testing products that did nothing for my hair.

In conclusion if you so suffer with frizzy hair I can not recomend this product enough, yes there is the initial cost but sometimes in life you really do get what you pay for!!!!
