Advantages: Rebuilds damaged hair, Smooths hair, Highly concentrated

Disadvantages: NONE!!!!!

This conditioner is expensive and costs me just under £10. Trust me its worth it, read on.

I am an unnatural blonde and I have been dying my hair since I was knee high to a grasshopper.

I normally get my roots done every 4 weeks, and a toner combed through the length.

One day I tried a new hairdresser, who was cheaper than the average hairdresser, disaster!

Whilst the hairdresser was chatting to her friend, she forgot about me, and left the bleach on too long. When she had remembered me, and washed the bleach out I noticed that she was washing a fair amount of my hair down the sink. "Don’t panic" she said, "its normal to lose some hair". Well over the next few days my hair just kept breaking off. She had seriously damaged my hair. Over the next few weeks I tried various conditioners and visited hairdressers, who confirmed what I already knew, that my hair had been chemically damaged, I was actually advised to sue the hairdresser, but was to upset. I just tied it back for while as it was too damaged to style properly.

After several weeks I looked terrible I had serious regrowth, spiky broken off ends, and hair floating around the house. It was so fragile I couldn’t even get a brush through it, I had to use my fingers.

I went to a new hairdresser who said she would colour my roots, provided I got my hair in good condition. She recommended Kerastase Resistance, Ciment , Anti-wear in conjunction with their shampoo (which is also for damaged hair). This conditioner contains a formula that rebuilds your hairs structure. It is a rinse out conditioner, that you leave on for about a minute. However, It was recommended that I left it on for as long as possible at first, due to my hair’s condition.

The conditioner worked wonders, after one use I could actually style my hair for the first time in weeks, use a hairdryer and brush and heated rollers. There wer
e still a few hairs that broke off but not many. I noticed that my hair improved every time I used the conditioner. After a month I was able to get my roots done again.

I really cannot believe that my hair has improved so much, because of a conditioner, as I thought that they were all the same, but in different packages. My hair is now is thicker (this conditioner is great for fine hair) and shiny once more.

As I said the conditioner is expensive, but, a little goes a long way. It is highly concentrated, you only need a very small blob. I have long hair and a 200ml bottle will last me about 7-8 weeks (so it works out cheaper than buying cheapo conditioner). It is easy to rinse out, doesn’t make your hair lank and greasy, has a lovely smell and it really works.

You can only buy it at hairdressers but often if you buy two Kerastase products you get freebies.

I had a similar problem, only thing was it wasn't the hairdresser it was myself. I couldn't believe what I had done. I put the bleach on my dyed black hair, left it for ages and then put plastic bag over my hair and proceeded to dry it with the hairdryer. Well 20 minutes later my hair was orange, felt like straw and was all breaking off. I was rather shaken by this, as there is no way you can hide your hair from the world. I couldn't even put it up because it was too short. I off to the hairdresser and she gave me a similar product, it might actually have been the same thing, but it did make a difference to my hair thank god. Anyway these days I dye my hair auburn, it is not nearly so much hassle and risky as bleach! Thank god.

Your poor hair. I bet you haven't gone to a cheaper hairdresser since. This product sounds great. Good Op - Anna :)
