Kenwood SJM250 ... had been using a cheap Cookworks kettle that was bought in the Argos sale for just £4.99 around 5 years ago and although it was very basic it had lasted me well. When it started to leak though, I had to look for a replacement, rather than run the risk of electrocuting myself! To be honest I don t use my kettle much - I only drink the occasional cup of tea and in recent weeks have been using it to fill my hot water bottle before bed (I can t stand the cold!), but otherwise it stands unused. Tefal QuickCup ... to do our bit for the environment my partner went out and bought us a tefal quick cup kettle at £60 from argos it wasnt exactly cheap so we thought it had better be worth it ! initially the fascination of having an instant brew meant that in the first week alone we must have drunk our body weights in tea lol, and yes it did exactly as it should have, put your cup under, press the button and hey presto within 30 seconds a cup of tea :) it doesnt quite reach boiling point but is certainly hot enough to make a quality cuppa quickly... we found that we could drink the tea quite quickly after making but it soon went cold. it is very good if you want to use it as ...
