Breville JK58: ... this kettle approximately 1 and a half years ago. Initially we were happy with it, but after a few months a problem developed: when the water had boiled and the kettle had switched itself off automatically, after a few minutes it would switch itself back on and start heating the water again. Apart from being annoying and wasting electricity, this was sometimes dangerous if we had just used all the boiled wat...

Malcolm+%26+Garry Morphy Richards Kettle 43010
... bought our first Morphy Richards 43010 kettle in January 04 purely for the design of it despite the relatively high price. Around 18 months later it started to leak from the bottom of the display window. John Lewis replaced it without a problem in August 05. Now the replacement kettle has gone the same way leaking at exactly the same place. This time unfortunately it is out of guarantee , and having searched the internet it no longer seems to be available. It s not even on the Morphy Richards website. Perhaps they now recognise there is a problem? Great looking but definitely sub standard which is disappointing for a top of the range item and even more disappoin...

... couple of years ago, our old kettle decided to act up, and leak all over the worktops whenever anyone s back was turned - the one after that was a cheapy one that surprise, surprise, didn t last very long! Since the newly done kitchen was blue and white, this kettle seemed to fit the bill nicely. It s still going strong, although the light stopped working - can t complain too much, though - too lazy to try and do anything about it! You get a jug kettle )with a separate base and an instruction manual with the do s and don ts of using your kettle. You get a one year guarantee but you must keep your proof of purchase. THE PERKS Kettle illuminates during boiling Keep...

... should have seen my boyfriend s face when I brought home a pink toaster and kettle set ! But he still uses it to make his toast and 20 cups of tea a day ! I think you pay for the pinkness of it ! The kettle makes about 6 cups of tea and but is not as reliable as expected the lid popped off after about a year of use so we don t use it anymore which is a shame. It was good while it lasted but has no extras on it it really is just a basic kettle that you could probably get for aa lot cheaper if it wasn t pink Overall if you really need pink in the kitchen like me I would go for this kettle as it s ok for light use ! If you can live without the pink there are better ...
