berrydelight Breville JK46: ... s broken" innocent enough words uttered by a fellow colleague who clearly had not anticipated the pandemonium that would break out among ten tea addicted staff members. It begin with the women laughing gaily as they joked about whether it was switched on at the mains, followed by the men with their tools trying to raise some life out of our long serving Russell Hobbs. A dear friend who s passing wa...

... bought this as part of a deal 4 years ago, with a matching toaster and grill. I think I paid about £35 for the kettle. I am ecstatic to report that: 1.It is NOT made in China. It is a classic German peice, which looks even more beautiful than this photograph here. 2. You don t see the coily element, which is so messy to clean. 3. It does seem to heat the water up quicker than my earlier kettle. The overall quality has been good too. I mean, come on, it s a kettle, it will do what a kettle does. What is so exciting about it? But we all get excited when we go out to buy a kettle or anything for that matter, am I right ladies? Although it doesn t have an element to g...

... got this kettle for my birthday last year after seeing my father in law get one for his birthday i wanted one too.. Im a HUGE tea drinker so i thought this would be perfect for me, save leccy and time especially in the morning while trying get ready for work. It costs roughly £40 pound. Its smart appearence and easy to clean, it also comes with its on filter if you live in areas of hard water. There is only two things i would change about this kettle. The first, is the noise it makes, its really loud i actually thought i was broken first time i used it. The second is the fact it doesnt heat tp boiling point the same way as a normal kettle does so its really only suita...

shoppergirl28 Cookworks Jug Kettle
... have recently bought a brand new flat with a very modern feel and felt that my kettle had to reflect this, therefore I opted for a stainless steel one. The stated brushed steel effect is quite subtle, and the problem with any metallic item the shine soon dies and starts to show water marks. However, it does look nice and modern and simple. I bought it for about £12 from Argos, which was perfect, and I am happy that the quality is acceptable. I was worried that up close it may look cheap, and I have to say I can t really complain in regard to that area! I also bought a matching toaster from Cookworks which seems equally effective, although I am still worried about wate...
