sunnyteacake Delonghi KBO3001: ... purchased the red model and I have to say it looks stunning on my kitchen surface. However, I found it quite noisy to begin with but you get used to it fairly quickly. It boils quicker to other kettles I have had. You do need to put quite a lot of water in it to make the water level indicator rise but once filled to the top you can easily get a good few cups of tea or coffee out of it before having to refill aga...

... bought this kettle just over 2 years ago and it is by far the best kettle I have bought. I looked towards dualit following numerous cheaper brands breaking beyond repair. I had heard they had a good reputation and that has proved to be true. The kettle itself is well made and stylish, it comes in numerous colours so will fit in any kitchen (mine is the cream and chrome). It has the added bonus that you can also purchase co-ordinating toasters. It boils quickly due to the style of the heating element although you must take care not to overfill above the maximum fill line otherwise it wont turn off. It holds an average amount of water ( I can usually make 5 cups of tea). ...

... have been through an exceptional number of kettles over the years, mainly because I live in a hard water area and feel unable to cope with the endless battle against limescale. Limescale clogs up the element, looks horrible and deposits nasty granules into your cup. If you really wanted to keep limescale at bay you would have use a chemical descaler every two weeks - something I am not prepared to do. After calculating my overall kettle spend, I decided that the best plan was to buy cheap models so that I didn t feel too bad at getting rid of them after a year. As an aspiring green consumer, I am horrified to find myself writing this, but it is a fact of life that I h...

... cool design this kettle, so bought for all the wrong reasons I know and it has its flaws We are actually on the fourth one as have had to take all the other ones back to John Lewis because either you couldn t open the lid or the lid jumped open. But yes I still went back and got a replacement, (don t ask). It is all brushed aluminium and with the wipe over of a warm sponge it stays looking like new. Just a gentle push of the button at the top of the sleek handle and the lid gently opens (usually). Fill your kettle up to the maximum 1.7 litres of water and caress the on/off rocker button on that same sleek handle and a spooky white LED illuminates the water gauge ...
