Sainsbury's Stainless Steel Cordless Jug:
... have been through an exceptional number of kettles over the years, mainly because I live in a hard water area and feel unable to cope with the endless battle against limescale. Limescale clogs up the element, looks horrible and deposits nasty granules into your cup. If you really wanted to keep limescale at bay you would have use a chemical descaler every two weeks - something I am not prepared to do. After calcul... Magimix 11565 ... cool design this kettle, so bought for all the wrong reasons I know and it has its flaws We are actually on the fourth one as have had to take all the other ones back to John Lewis because either you couldn t open the lid or the lid jumped open. But yes I still went back and got a replacement, (don t ask). It is all brushed aluminium and with the wipe over of a warm sponge it stays looking like new. Just a gentle push of the button at the top of the sleek handle and the lid gently opens (usually). Fill your kettle up to the maximum 1.7 litres of water and caress the on/off rocker button on that same sleek handle and a spooky white LED illuminates the water gauge ... Breville JK82 Lightning White Kettle ... am fed up of my Kettle so thought I would share it with you my parents initally purchased the kettle for christmas 2007 and this is the third kettle that we have and since we had the first one the models have changeds slightly although they still haven t dealt with the real problems. Firstly I will describe the plus points of the kettle to you it is fairly attractive although the lights do tend to draw the attention of youngsters to the kettle so not altogether a complete positive. The keepwarm system was a godsend when my daughter was a baby as it meant there was always hot water for the bottles although it was definately not designed with my husband in mind as he of... Eco Kettle ... bought one of these kettles 18 months ago and within 6 months it had stopped working and it was leaking. I rang the vendor and it was replaced immediately. We are now on kettle number two. And after a year it is now starting to fail....again. This time it is the cinnection between the kettle and the base. We have to wiggle it and keep trying the flick down button. There are other problems with this kettle...the push down valve system is starting to fail too...it gets stuck. When the kettle has boiled it is advised to leave it for a few seconds...if you try and pour when the kettle has just boiled it will splutter and spurt boiling water over you and anyone standing close...
