I bought this little kettle because it is basic and cheap, and we keep it in our caravan. We like to go to our caravan quite a lot over Easter and throughout the summer holidays so it is useful to have a cheap little kettle on hand to make tea and boil water for cooking.

This kettle is quite simple looking, though it doesn't look out of place in our caravan, it holds a maximum of 1.7 litres of water, which makes up to 8 cups of tea or coffee, this is a good size of kettle for us to take on holidays, as we normally have lots of family with us on our little breaks.

This kettle has a safety feature that switches it off when the kettle is empty, meaning the kettle won't be wasting energy.

This kettle takes a little over the average time to boil up water, though it is very cheap, so I did expect that it would not be as quick as more expensive models.

There is a one year guarantee on this kettle, I have owned mine for about a year now and I have had no problems with is so far, however I do not use it every day, only when I am up in the caravan, though I am sure it will last us for a long time as it is a very good quality little kettle.

The main reason I bought this kettle was the price, you can buy this kettle for just of £5, and because I am only using this kettle in the caravan. It works just great and is great value for money.

Overall I am very pleased with this kettle, it was the perfect buy for me to take with me to the caravan and I think it would also be well suited to students as well if they are looking for a little bargain. I would recommend this kettle to anyone who is looking for a cheap, no frills kettle, as it is in my opinion, the definition of cheap and cheerful. Overall I would give this kettle 4 out of 5 stars.
