Advantages: Simple design, great boil time, lasted for a long time.

Disadvantages: none!

Living in a student house with all of us loving a good old cuppa, we needed a kettle but didn't want to waste money on anything expensive. For around £6, this was perfect. I have never understood why people spend loads of money on a fancy kettle when it will still do exactly the same thing - boil water.

This kettle is a plain white, no frills product. Unless you're looking for something very particular, this will fit into most peoples kitchens. Yes, it does look a little cheap, but why show off with a kettle?! The most important thing is that it works, and will continue to work for a long time. I have had this kettle for almost two years now and I have never had a problem with it! It still works just as well as it did on day one.

If you fill the kettle to the maximum fill level, it takes around 4 minutes to fully boil. A half full kettle will take 2 and a half to 3 minutes. Honestly though, you won't often find a kettle that boils much quicker than this unless it is one of those 'rapid boils', which in my opinion rarely actually boil the water.

I think this is excellent value for money, and even if it broke now, after almost 2 years, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one at this price. Brilliant!

Summary: A kettle that is worth it's low price! Definitely reccommend.
