I have this kettle for about four years and have had few problems with it:
Everyday use- If you only put enough water in for one cup of coffee it boils within seconds, if I fill the kettle it takes around 2 or 3 minutes. You can clearly see how much water is in it and it tells you the minimum and maximum you can use. The lid is easy to open and close and the catch has never broken. you can also fill the kettle through the spout if you want. There is a button you press to switch it on which lights up when it is in use and it clicks off automatically when the kettle has finished boiling. The maximum amount of water i can boil is 1.7 litres which is plenty and 0.5 is the minimum which is about one normal size mug full. Its reasonably noisy, it sounds like a roaring noise but its not too bad, you can also hear when it has boiled.
Looks- I have this kettle in black, it might be available in other colours but im not sure. Its looks stylish and reasonably expensive. Its a normal size and clearly says Bosch on it.
Durability- As stated before I have had this kettle for 4 years and it has never broken, a couple of times it has not switched on and im not sure why, but if you take it off the base and put it back on again it starts working. I use this multiple times a day as there are five people in my family so it really has lasted a long time and still going strong.
Price- Its currently on amazon for 50 pounds which is quite a lot but if you consider how long it lasts then its not to bad, there is also a cordless version available which surprisingly is cheaper.
I would recommend this for any family who want quick and easy brews.
