Yesterday I finally said farewell to my "EasyBowl" kettle,I returned it to the shop and asked for my money back : I had tried hard ,the was the second one in 18months and both had leaked from the base. I was sad because it was a happy orange colour that turned purple as it boiled the water but we had to part company.

So I am on the hunt for a new kettle. Now it is winter we are working more indoors and when I saw this Bosch kettle in my bosses kitchen I thought this might be good ,maybe I will buy one of these. It looks the part, a black jug kettle on a black stand,the on off switch at the top of the handle near the lid. !.7litre capacity with a double side water level indicator ,cool touch ,fast boil with cable storage in the base. I checked the inside ,removable limescale filter what could be better!

Well they could have tried using it a few times! after two weeks of cuppas I am not impressed . The lid doesn´t press open with your thumb unless helped and the spout is too small to fill from the tap. When it boils steam escapes from the lid and when you pour the boiling water it comes out of the lid as well as the spout.

Yesterday in the kettle shop my husband pointd out the Bosch as a replacement for our old "Easy Bowl" and I said "No thanks,you try it tomorrow", well he did, and he agreed with me ! that must be twice in 30years!

We did hunt around the kitchen and discovered ,yes, another Bosch jug kettle,this time in white!
