The breville hot cup is basically a kettle without the waiting, the machine produces enough hot water to make one hot drink. It cuts out the long boiling times that are the downfall of the common kettle and it also means that you are saving the electric that it would cost to heat a full kettle therefore saving more money.

Simply pour water into the back of the machine ensuring not to fill above the max fill line, put your cup under the spout and press the button. The machine will boil just enough water for one drink saving on energy costs.

The only downfall of this appliance is when it comes to making multiple drink as you have to individually boil for each cup, therefore I have found it useful to keep a kettle purely to avoid waiting around.

Also a word of advise make sure your cups are big enough to hold the capacity of water that the machine expels it gets messy otherwise.
