Advantages: looks great and does what it says it does

Disadvantages: ours broke but hopefully just one off. was replaced

I purchased this kettle for my mum and dad for their wedding anniversary as they were in DESPERATE need of a new one. They didn't really specify what they were looking for so i took it upon myself to choose. I liked this one purely because of the lighting up aspect and that it looked nicer than the other ones with the same feature. I bought this one for them and they were over the moon. About 2 weeks after they started to use it, it stopped working. At first i thought it was the fuse so we changed it but it still didn't work. We took it back and exchanged it for the exact same one. Thankfully they have had this one now for about 3 months and nothing has gone wront- hoping that it was just an one off and not a common fault but who knows? Excellent kettle.
