Advantages: quick boil and holds lots of water

Disadvantages: none

This kettle was the best i have ever owned, costing £44.98 from argos about 5 years ago.

I brought this kettle after my yellow kettle i previously reviewed gave up the ghost and refused to boil water.

This kettle is quite big and holds a lot of water, proably about 10 cups worth so it is great if you have a lot of visitors.

It takes 3 minutes to boil a full kettle and about 45 seconds to boil enough water for 2 cups of tea which i thought was great as by the time you have got the cups ready its done.

This kettle does get very hot on the out side and will burn you but the handle doesnt even get warm neither does the handle on the lid.

It holds its heat for ages.

This kettle does get quite a bad build up of lime scale but a good clean once a month soon sorts this out.

It has a metal gauze in the spout to catch any bits of limescale so they dont end up in you tea and is very easy to fill using the spout.

My kettle didnt stop working like all the others i have had it sprang a leak about 3 months ago from where the metal kettle conects to the plasic on the bottom but i think 5 years was a good life for this kettle.

Summary: i couldnt get another one so ended up with a rubbish kettle this time
