Advantages: easy to use, looks good and was a bargain.

Disadvantages: none ive found.

COOKWORKS JUG KETTLE.

Having not had much luck with kettles letely, the one in the flat stopped working.

Having shopped around, i managed to purchaes this kettle last week, simply by chance as the one i had originally been after was out of stock and this was shown to me as a replacement.

I purchased this from Argos Extra and they brought the kettle out for me took it out of the box, and let me have a look, it was advertised for 12.98p but when i went to pay it was reduced to £10.00 so i was most delighted with the extra bonus of having received this for a mere £10.00.

Performance **********

Well having taken it out of the box, set it up, simple, just consisted of removing the carboard from around the kettle and the little carboard piece around the plus, having plused the stand in popped my kettle onto it, and filled it up, and let it boil, it took just four and a half minutes to boil to full, 1.07L.

The kettle was easy to use and holds a 1.7L capacity, which is great for me as i like to make a few cuppas at one time, and with a constant supple of family and friends around this really ig great.

The Kettle looks great and fits in well in my modern kitchen, has black easy to wipe handle, the handle has a water gauge which you can clearly see, and shows a water mark in black so that you cannot over fill this kettle.

It also has a light indicator which shows when the kettle is on, this showing red when on.

This kettle automatically switches off when it has finished boiling, which is great as you dont always have the time to stand watching a kettle, and you know what they say about watching kettles.

It has a boil dry protection, built into it too.
The main body of this kettle is made of Stainless Steel, which fits in so well, with all the other Stainless Steel gadgets i have, and looks pleasing to the eye too.

220-240v-50 hz.

It was easy to fill, the lid opens up to the right, on little hindges, the handle is very sturdy the kettle wipes clean, but be careful with the Stainless Steel dont use anything ebrasive on it, as you know Stainless Steel scratches easily.

It also has a removable filter which is washable. It was so easy to boil, and switched itself off.

I have had no problems with this diamond of a kettle, no spills, it boils and switches off, looks pleasing to the eye, and was a bargain, i hadnt counted for.
Thanks for reading and rating my reviews x.

Summary: i love my Cookworks, will be looking out for a matching toaster now.
