Advantages: Quite fast, good looking
Disadvantages: Gets hot to the touch, quite loud
I was given this kettle as a sort of housewarming present, along with a matching toaster and a sandwich maker. I have been using it for some time now, rather heavily since we do love our cuppas in this house! I like the look of it, it can match quite well in most kitchen decors, since it's quite 'neutral' stainless steel. This is a really good kettle. It boils pretty fast, which is always nice first thing in the morning! I find the inside stays nice and clean too (though this can depend on your water area of course), I think the concealed element is the best way to go for a kettle. It also takes up little space (great for me since I have little truly usable worktop space) and looks nice and neat on the worktop. The base has a built in rack on the bottom, allowing you to wrap the cord around it, further aiding the tidiness. Nice and easy to use, unpack, plug in, fill with water and bingo!
Only downside is I find it gets very hot to the touch, and have often been caught out while curling my arm around it to wipe the worktop behind it. Sounds silly, of course it's hot, it's boiling in there! But some kettles are better than others in this regard. It is also quite loud and I do have to leave the room if I am on the phone! Overall though, it is an excellent, functional, good looking and pretty fast kettle for a very agreeable price and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Summary: Brilliant kettle, brilliant price
