You can not beat a cup of tea, not with anything. My kettle was on the way out so I bought one of these kettles before I moved house last year. I decided to get this one as it's available in a lovely deep red colour which matched my colour scheme in my old kitchen. I wasn't sure at first as it was a £79.99 but it was reduced to about £50 ... Product overview We bought this in the cream version, with matching toaster and coffee maker. It is a pretty standard kettle when you look at it's features - Rapid boil jug kettle, 360 degree swivel base ( I.e. There is no specific position at which you must place the kettle onto the base), 1.7 L water ... Read the complete review

**Why I bought it** This kettle was bought for us for our wedding 2 years ago and was purchased in black rather than in red. If you read some of my other reviews, you will know for making tea and coffee we use our Breville Hotcup regularly, so I was concerned that the kettle may be redundant. I do find myself using the kettle a lot ... Read the complete review

We bought this in black in fact, with the matching toaster, as we had a new kitchen. They certainly looked the business on the floor of Comet. But positioning the toaster it on the worktop it just looks so big. It is a dominating piece of equipment, but it's only a toaster. There are other drawbacks with the toaster too, and ... This lovely red kettle comes from Delonghi a rather expensive brand when it comes to most of their appliances. But for this it wasn't too bad. My family have an all cream kitchen yet their toaster and kettle are red. This sounds strange but it works. So that is way my parents opted to buy this particular model. It can be ... Personally I love this kettle, and didn't mind over paying for the style. 18 Months ago we purchased this and the matching toaster, and they are a great feature of our kitchen. As mentioned in other reviews, it is just a kettle, and the only stand out feature is that you can replace it on the base any way round, rather than a ... Read the complete review

I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to purchase a £60 kettle instead of the normal plastic one that most people buy. Unfortunately the advantages weren't all that grand, and I'm not sure that it was completely worth it. This kettle is just a kettle, it doesn't have any special features except it's good looks (be ... Read the complete review

Most of my life, my parents never really invested into a decent kettle. We'd usually buy one every four years from Argos, or somewhere that was holding a sale. These kettles worked, but they were noisy, heavy and annoying to refill - to refill with water, you'd have to click a switch on the top of the kettle to open it only for it to ...
