Advantages: Quick boiling, energy saving.

Disadvantages: Poor design, spits hot water, looks cheap.

I purchased the Eco Kettle primarily as an energy saving device, you operate it by filling a resovoir of water and then releasing the required amount of water by pressing a valve on the lid, hence only boiling the amount you actually need and saving energy. I like the energy saving aspect of the kettle, however the look of the kettle is not quite as dynamic as its function. It only comes in white and the cup measure scale is easily scrubbed off when cleaning. The pouring takes a little getting used to as you have to tip it right up to get the water out, this can be quite heavy if the resovoir is full. If the kettle is not emptied fully after each boiling it can spit hot water out of the spout which could be dangerous. It is however very fast at boiling water and only boiling water the once makes for a lovely cup of tea.

Summary: Eco kettle, great idea but could do better on design.

Welcome to Dooyoo. A good start here but for the benefit of future buyers could do with a little more info such as:

Price you paid and where you bought it from.
Water tank capacity
Any water filter inclyded such as a mesh filter on the spout?
Controls - quality?

If you update your review please message me.

I know that this kettle isn't exactly environmentally friendly - it uses a high element to heat up the water.
