Advantages: a good hardwearing kettle that just works
Disadvantages: short power cable
If you are looking for a reasonable kettle that is pretty cheap and reliable then the kenwood is your product.
My wife and I purchased this kettle from Argos about a year ago now and as the Kettle is in use at least 10 times aday appears to work without issue.
This really is a no-fuss kettle that boils water very quickly, manages to keep the water hot whilst standing, and doesn't drip when pouring the water.
The kettle comes in a number of colours but at the time we purchased the slightly off white version.
The kettle is cordless which works well in our kitchen however the switch althought we have no issues on the surface appear to be the weak point of the product and overtime i can see this might break.
The kettle when full is quite heavy and i wouldn't recommend his kettle if you are trying to get children involved more in the kitchen.
My only issue is that the ower cord is short so we are limited because of availability of plugs within the kitchen when to sit the kettle.
In conclusion
The kettle works really well and even after a year of bashing and operation just works.
The best thing about this kettle is that its reasonably priced and the build quality is good apart from the switch but even this hasn't failed yet.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace there existing kettle or maybe to use as a spare
Summary: S good little kettle that functions well under hard usuage

- Usually I'm a metal fan but when making tea, noise & effects aren't what I need.
