Advantages: Shiny, reliable

Disadvantages: Noisy, fairly slow

I purchased this kettle from Tesco Direct around 8 months ago and it is still in good working order. The finish is very attractive high shine steel which looks good in the kitchen and attracts compliments, and it has kept it's looks with very minimal cleaning. It has a good filter which prevents scale from getting into the water. Boiling time is average, not particularly quick but have known slower, but it does make a lot of noise as it boils which is not good for our home layout where the kitchen is part of the living room. The noise is loud enough to make watching TV when boiling the kettle a bit difficult. So I would recommend this kettle as a reasonable and attractive low to mid range purchase, if you can get it for a good deal somewhere and are looking for a stainless steel finish. But I would not recommend for bedsits or open plan living.

Summary: Not bad for a reasonable price, looks good

Welcome to Dooyoo. A good start here.
For buyers a bit more info would be good here such as:

Acutal tank capacity (litres)
Does it have a 3.0 kw or more element (looking on the base will reveal that, and anything over 2.8 or more suggests that its a rapid boil)
Bare boiling ring to the eye or concealed? This makes cleaning easier if the boiling ring has been covered over.
General price you paid for it.
Can it be filled straight from a tap (obviously in some hard water areas some owners have water filter fitted taps) or do you need to open up the lid?

As you can see some more info would be good here, but its not compulsory to update it. For buyers though and the Dooyoo core reason, added info would also boost your review somewhat. If you update your review please message me.
