I am really impressed with this kettle. I bought it primarily based on its looks, it looks like a much more expensive kettle than it actually is being stainnless steel too. It's rather compact, as is it's base which is 360 degrees, so can fit in on the counter easily and is handy for left or right handed peple.
It feels well made and sturdy, the handle is a comfortable size and easy to hold and pour with. The switch does need a firm press to click it in place to turn it on. It is a little fiddily to get the lid on and off though- the lid handle is a little knob under the main curve handle- so isn't easy to just click off and on. The spout is easy to pour from for me, but as it's short sticking out compared to the rounded body of the kettle, pouring boiled water into certain items can be fiddily when you need to rest the spout on the jug for example. If youve a steady hand youre fine though.
The water indicator is easy to view and understand, and pouring water in and out is easily done if you tip the kettle to get the tap around the handle. We have a mono curved tap- so those with seperate hot/cold taps might not find this a much an issue. It also boils quickly.
The kettle is quiet, the only indication its on is the indicator light which is useful.
