... them a copy of the receipt w(thank goodness we had kept it) we were sent a replacement. However after a week the same thing happened and this one had to be replaced too.
We have had our third for coming up to a year and are hoping this one won't have the same problem. If it does we know that Customer Service is excellent and as long as we can show the reciept it will be replaced free of charge within 3 years.
I shouldn't really feel this way but I love this kettle and would buy it again and recommend it to friends. ...more

After our very expensive Siemens kettle stopped working we went to town and I chose the best looking kettle around - the Magimix 11566 in brushed stainless steel. It also comes in polished crome, polished stainless steel with cream handle and polished stainless steel with grey handle. I chose the brushed effect as I thought it wouldn't show up fingerprints, plus it went with my other kitchen appliances. I probably should have read up on reviews first but unfortunately I chose it on looks alone.
